Privacy Policy

Last Updated & Verified: September 21, 2026

At Caltohub (accessible at caltohub.com), one of our core architectural priorities is safeguarding the privacy and data integrity of our visitors. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information collected, how it is used, and your explicit rights under global privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA.

1. Zero-Server Processing: Complete Client-Side Isolation

Unlike traditional web applications, all calculation tools hosted on Caltohub (including mortgage amortization, SaaS metrics, freelance pricing, BMI/TDEE calculations, and unit conversions) execute 100% locally in your web browser via client-side JavaScript.

  • No personal financial data, salary figures, debt balances, or birthdates are transmitted across the internet to our servers.
  • No user accounts or mandatory registration profiles are created.
  • When you close your browser tab, all ephemeral calculation states stored in local memory are permanently discarded.

2. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Cookies

Google is a third-party advertising vendor on Caltohub. Google uses cookies, specifically known as DART cookies, to serve advertisements to visitors based upon their visits to caltohub.com and other websites on the internet.

  • Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network Privacy Policy.
  • Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on Caltohub. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs.
  • Caltohub has no access to or control over these cookies used by third-party advertisers.

3. Web Analytics & Aggregated Server Logs

Like standard web platforms, Caltohub utilizes Google Analytics (gtag.js) and standard web server access logs to monitor aggregated traffic patterns. These logs collect non-personally identifiable information such as browser type, referring/exit pages, operating system, and timestamp data solely for performance optimization and DDoS mitigation.

4. GDPR Data Protection Rights (EU / UK Residents)

Under the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), every user is entitled to:

  • The right to access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
  • The right to rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
  • The right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict or object to processing: You may object to the processing of your data.

5. CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California consumers have the right to request disclosures of category data collected, request deletion of personal information, and demand that a business not sell their personal information. Caltohub does not sell any personal consumer information to third parties.
